Byron Tate, President and Owner
Tru-Line Seattle and Tru-Line Bellevue
Byron Tate is the son of the company founder Raymond Tate and represents the 2nd generation in the industry. He has been with Tru-Line since 1969 and is a certified specialist in many areas of auto repair including all makes and models of foreign and domestic vehicles whether general or exotic. He is known in the industry for his outstanding attention to detail and excellent work ethic which he instills in his staff. He holds certification for the diagnosis and repair of frame and uni-structural systems, suspension and steering systems, wheel alignment and corner balance correction, and all areas of automotive brake systems.
Doug Tate, Vice President
Tru-Line Seattle
Doug Tate, the son of Byron Tate represents the 3rd generation of the Tate family in the business. He has been with Tru-Line since 1989 and is also a certified specialist in diagnosis and repair of foreign and domestic vehicles, general and exotic. He holds specialized certification for the following: frame and uni-structural diagnosis and repair; suspension and steering system diagnosis and repair; suspension system wheel alignment and corner balance diagnosis and correction and all areas of brake system diagnosis and repair.
William Kleffner, Certified Technician
In 2005 "Willie" came to Tru-line with a degree as a Certified Auto Technician from South Seattle Community College which he received in 1980. Willie brings a vast amount of working experience and certification in the automotive brake service industry which he has worked in from 1981 to the present. He also brings us his extended knowledge of computers and Information Technology.
Pete Sarmany, Certified Technician
In 2006 Pete Sarmany brought to Tru-Line a diverse background of work experience. He served four years of active duty in the vehicle maintenance division with the United States Marine Corp from 1988-1992. He then served at Gaylord Rehabilitation Hospital assisting patients with their occupational therapy from 1994-1995. Most recently he has been in the tire and wheel industry and brings to Tru-Line a vast amount of knowledge and experience along with certification to assist our client's needs.
